Past Projects

My work spans watershed management, habitat restoration, native planting, and community-focused conservation initiatives. Highlights include:

• Watershed Management Plans – Grant management and hands-on implementation support that helps communities move from planning to action, aligning watershed goals with available funding and delivering water quality and watershed improvement projects on the ground.
  
  

• Stream & Native Mitigation Projects – Design, coordination, and oversight of native plantings, stream restoration, and habitat mitigation projects, with working knowledge of applicable state and federal permit requirements, including Clean Water Act Sections 404 and 401, USACE coordination, and state-specific permitting through EGLE (MI), IDEM (IN), and Ohio EPA, as well as local floodplain and conservation district review processes.
  
  

• MS4 Coordination, SWPPP Support & Environmental Outreach Programming – Hands-on education and technical support for stormwater management, including sustainable landscaping, MS4 permit compliance, SWPPP development and implementation, and coordination across multiple MS4 program areas.
  
  

• Green Infrastructure Project Management & Delivery – Cross-trained in project management, construction management, and inspection, with experience coordinating green infrastructure projects from planning and partner engagement through construction oversight, compliance, and close-out.
  
  

• Site Tours & Public Education – Planning and leading site tours, workshops, and field demonstrations that highlight sustainable practices, green infrastructure installations, and measurable project outcomes for municipal staff, elected officials, stakeholders, and the public. 

• Watershed Water Quality Monitoring & Coordination – Coordination of watershed-scale water quality testing efforts, including partner collaboration, sampling planning, data tracking, and interpretation to support MS4 compliance and watershed goals.
